Lazy Sunday
I got this from Carol (Listed on my blog roll as Splats)
I would like to pass this lovely award onto Caroline, Deborah, Elsie, Wendy, Heike and to all the members of Purple Coo who read and comment on my blog.
I have also been tagged to do a 6 word memoir by Wendy and Darth Sardonic.
The rules are:
1) Write your own six word memoir
2) Post it on your blog; include a visual illustration if you’d like
3) Link to the person that tagged you in your post, and to the original post if possible
4) Tag at least five more blogs with links
5) Leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!
Well this is going to be difficult seeing as I have passed the 50,000 word mark in my actual memoir in progress, 'From Zaftig to Aspie', but let me see if I can condense it into 6 words... 'Hippie child morphs into Aspie adult'.

Last but not least for today is A parody of the song 'Born to be wild' for all you who belong to the 'Baby Boomer' generation!
N2S has a rugby game today which doesn't start until 11 but they all have to be there at 9.30am (in their suits and ties, awwwww sweet!). N3S and I are setting off for his horse riding lesson at 1 and wont be back till 4 as the stables are so far away! Seems strange to have a day off together but not actually see any more of Chopper than I do on a weekday! Hope you all have as lovely a day as we will.

26 reciprocal ramblings:
wonderful post sweetie...you have a fab Sunday too.
Awww thanks honey. Hope you have a fab day.

I can remember weekends like that only in our case it was football. THre were days when I left the house at 8am with one child to drive miles to a 20 miles away to the west get back with just enough time to wolf dowa sarnie that was lready prepared before taking the next child to his match somewhere over in the east direction. Or there would be all day tournaments at diffenrent places so one of us would be at one place and the other at another. That was when our mobiles came into their own.
I remember someone saying to me once 'you have a busy social life' my reply 'I don't have a social life I have football'
enjoy the riding
Thanks for the tag - I'll pick it up today.
Have a great Sunday.
hi djk, thanks for the award! - i have half an idea for a post related to it... watch this space! happy rainy sunday
Yippee, for the award! Thank you very much. I think that the one in the middle (shouting) must be me:
DOWN, FIDO, DOWN!
This Sunday, old Fido is giving me some problems (because of breathing problems brought on by pneumonia) but otherwise ... the weather is glorious.
Adore the title 'From Zaftig to Aspie'!
Love and sun,
Deborah
Gosh thank you for the award - can you email me how to put it up - I still haven't put up my award for Wordless Wednesday that I won ages and ages ago . . you'd think someone who runs a website could put a blog award on her blog . . .noooooo way too blonde under all the red.
Have a lovely Sunday and hope the riding lessons go really well - Sunday is complete when I know you and N3S are going riding.
Thank you for the award! What a nice treat on a dreary Sunday...
Hi SZJ
Thanks, it has been a beautiful day except for N3S's nosebleed!
Hi Caroline,
You are most welcome.
Hi LiR
The riding was fab, N3S is a natural, the rugby didn't go so well though...
Hi But Why
I'll be over later for a read of your 6 word memoir.
Hi Elsie,
Looking forward to it!
Hi Deborah,
I wish I live closer so I could get Fido under control for you, I owe you the favour! I am glad you lie the title of my memoir!
Hi WW
I emailed you. The riding went fab, N3S is a natural even after his massive nose bleed earlier. The sun was out and hot but now we are having a thuderstorm, such odd weather.
Hi Wendy,
You are more than welcome, thanks for the 6 word memoir meme.
Ha...Purple Coo is a cool name. It sounds like a rock band or a club on Sunset Blvd.
Where yougoing tonight Spiky? I'm going to the Purple Coo. LL, Paris and Britney will be there as well. See, it even sounds fab.
later bab es.
Awww.....You cheer me up too!!!! :)
You did a great job with your memoir.
Oh my word, I think this meme is too difficult for me. I will have a think.

WOW, your 6 words are a lot cooler than what I came up with lol

Hope you had a good day DJ. We had some friends over, a girl who I've known since I was five and her husband, and introduced them to The Little Commuter. It was lovely.
Cool meme. Good job.
Congrats on finishing Without Alice. Any word from the publisher?
Hi SZJ
Purple Coo is great, I like the word Coo.
Hi GiG
Thanks! Glad you like it.
Hi Kahless
I'm very interested to see what you manage to come up with.
Hi Ackworth,
I am glad you did, I enjoyed it very much.
Hi Carol
I was sooo blonde, soon went brown though. We had a great day other than a rather spectacular nose bleed that N3S had.
Hi Marla
Glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Birdman
I didn't beleive you but I looked but couldn't find it.
Hi Rob
I thought it was quite hilarious too! Mild, indeed...
Hi Tony
I can see from Facebook tha tyou've had a great time, will be over to your later.
Hi JD
A friend since you were 5, how mamazing! And how lovely to be able to introduce her to your osn, perhaps your fiend and her husband will have a child that the little commuter will be best friends with!
Hi Ashley,
No word yet on 'Without Alice' though I have heard some very positive things about 'From Zaftig to Aspie'!
Your MEME description is great!
What happened to N3S's nose? Is he okay? If it wasn't too horrid, I'll bet he had some brilliant things to say about it.
Hi Nitebyrd,
Thanks! I am quite proud of it. I don't know what happened to N3S's nose, it just started bleeding. He has had them before but this time it was rather extravagant. If he gets another one like that then I am taking him to the Dr's but they are usually only minor ones and of no significance as far as I can tell. He is a big, healthy, hyper boy and growing at an alarming rate! I don't remember him saying much about the nosebleed that would slot into a random comment though.
Cheers DJ, I've done this one already! Yay! Rugby*shiver*
50,000 down to six - wow! I like the picture on the car too!
