Lazy Sunday
Happy Father's Day Chopper. You are a wonderful father and everyone at Chez Aspie loves you loads! You're perfect, thank you for being you.
I got this 'Beautiful Heart' award from Carol. Thank you Carol! I'd like to pass it on to everyone on my blog roll who would like to have it. I read your blogs because I think you all have beautiful hearts so post this award with pride!
I am now 8,000 + words into my new novel in progress 'Plump WAG's Club'. If you would like to read some excerpts from it then please click here. I will post an excerpt on a regular basis, say once a month or more frequently, depending upon how many people are interested. If you leave comments I will feel obligated to continue writing for your amusement and so, in my opinion, it is a win , win situation! It certainly worked when I was writing 'Without Alice'!
Today is a horse riding day for N3S so I will use some of my precious fuel to drive the 2hour round trip with him, just so I can see him smile. Lets hope the petrol crisis is resolved soon so that I can take him next time as I would hate to have to explain why he couldn't go!
Tomorrow is an inset day for N3S so in between answering many, many obscure questions from N3S and wrestling Werecat to the vets, I will also be working from home, admittedly on an intermittent basis...until Chopper gets home from work and then I am going to work my way through my work priority list at a frenzied pace. Which will be what I do on any other work day really, only the computer location will be different.

P.S. Monday morning - my copy of 'You're not the only one' has arrived. It looks fab and I am having difficulty restraining myself from starting to read it right now...but I must behave, I have work to do!

Great pictures of Chopper! Hope he enjoys his special day. Amy presented the farmer with some chocolate and 2 cards this morning, one she made at school and one bought. He was over the moon and I saw a glimpse of a tear!

Chopper is his nickname because he loves bikes and his blogging name is Chopski and also because his initials sound like an airborne type of Chopper and for another reason that I wouldn't share on this blog!

I've been over to yours a few times and no new post, where you been? Chopper isn't feeling any better but he isn't any worse either so that is a good thing. His specialist appointment is supposed to be tonight if they don't cancel it again!
